here goes

Hey what the heck its about time I set up a blog!

I have just sent the last hour or so reading peoples blogs and emails and realised how much more insight it gives me into how their mind works. And I figured since I'm so bad at keeping in touch with people that I would give this a go and see what happens. Especially as so many of you guys lives somewhere else and so I never get to see you! I mean I know I have spend most my life moving around but when I finally stop (3yrs in one place is pretty good for me), and I get to know you guys -what do you do - but like students everywhere, you leave! I mean what with that! I'm the only one whos allowed to leave (and only because I hadn't learnt how to stay)!

But anyway what have I been doing?

being slack and not going to cadets or church, but have been getting work done on my design.

I have had to write yet another review for my supervisor -grrrrrr- it seems such a waste of time to me but hey I've done it and its is useful. It reminded my how much I have to do before my supervisor goes on holiday on the 10th of December. And since he has to mark it etc I have to finish it before he goes.

That means I have have 8 weeks to catch up with all the stuff I should have done over about 20 weeks. Luckily alot of it is almost done. I just have to sit down and refine and finish things. Except for the final report that is meant to be a reflective process on what I have done this year during my research.

BTW for those who don't know (eg haven't been made to listen for hours) I am doing a research project for design and then I will have finished my DipGrad. The project I decided to do was design a book for a short story by Robert J. Sawyer (Kerri and Heater thanks for the book). I wanted to design the book in a different (read abnormal) format. I idea being to take a story out of a collection of adult sci-fi and present in a way thats interesting to both adults and children. In short make a cool picture book.

As I said I have been slack so had better get some work done on my presentation.
