muchas cosas

Well it has been an interesting week. Very useful meeting with my supervisor, helped me to look at some of my work critically and realise that some of it is really not going wherre I want and others are looking more finished than I thought. He also mentioned that if I can't get many pics of the right aged boys (~13) maybe I could use girls (working at a girls school and all). Everyone has been away this weekend though so haven't got any pics of girls either. Enjoyed cadets on thursday. Took them out for a swim test; organised stuff from the old, very much falling down, shed to one we want the council to let us use (zoning); Had a meeting with the senior rates telling them they are going to have jobs each week and trying to get them to do more to 'own' what we are trying to do. It will also mean that they will have something to do each week and be less likely to spend most of their time gossiping.
Got lots of work done on friday and on my way to the bus I met some guys doing the street corner thing. Had quite a cool talk about the holy spirit and they got me thinking. I looked up some of the verses they said to look at and they have a point I'm just not sure how much I agree with it. Also looked at a few commentaries but that just reinforced the bits agree with and didn't help much with the bit I'm not sure about. Anyway I ened up going to their pastor's house with a whole group of people last night and it was really fun. Bit weird when I had to say I had met the guys the night before in the octagon though. It was really cool to be amoungst a group of people from a small church again though. It reminded me how much I miss the communty of small churches.
Unfortunately after working hard and not getting enough sleep I now have a sore throat which I hope won't get any worse. I have spanish on thursday, and then have to get my page and cover designs done by the end of next week. So please pray that I get enough sleep and work done.

Oh and just to be annoying I decided to watch 'The Importance of Being Ernest' again before I took it back to the video store and now its stuck in my my dvd drive GGGRRRRRRRR!!!!! I have tried everything I can think of but it doesn't seem to be catching when it tries to eject. guess I have to take it down to magnummac tomorrow
