How is everyone?

I am back in the land of communication.
Had heaps of fun at dipflat, There was no reception of any kind up there, which meant some of you didn't get any answers to emails or txts. Also meant I didn't have a way of telling the time as my phone gets its time from the server and it used up all it battery power searching all the time. I eventually gave up recharging it, especially as the the sigs person needed the plug for something else.
Had a good group of cdts who worked well together and all learnt lots. One of them got awarded the Dipflat red with is only given to the very best on the course each year. This year 4 out of 80 got awarded the red.

the next week was at Akl on the MAS course. 6 students and 3 staff it was a much more laidback course but still very busy. Alot of us were very tired as well because 3 students and 1 staff had just finished another course and traveled directly up. Another came from the big day out. We spend the first 3 days on the water (and last 4 days of bushcraft were in bush) in very hot humid sunny weeather and then as soon as we started trying to stay awake for classes it poured.
